I bring a collaborative and transparent approach. We look at the structures and systems surrounding you in current and historical relationships to help you understand the barriers you are facing. Your rooted wisdom has always been there and my hope each session is to help get you closer to it using our therapeutic relationship, practical and cutting edge tools. Time with me will be balanced with safety, a down to earth presence, humor, curiosity and compassion.
I use a variety of clinical approaches but my foundations are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) all while using a systemic lens. I am a firm believer in Health At Every Size (HAES). I offer virtual and in person therapy.
